For a 4-year old program, it still works perfectly. Scanned--no virus or trojan...
Interface is old-school, but this is the only program I've found to join and index non-indexed wmv files (e.g., webisodes ripped from MS Silverlight-based sites).

If you just need to plop together some windows video, don't waste your time with Virtual Dub, Movie Maker, or Adobe Premiere--this works best.

False alarm? If not, I've had a trojan on my PC since Aug 2006 :/
Before this happend, I thought Steeper was good except for bad cutting,
it was only cutting at start OR the end and not both at the same time.
Well, now it's deleted. My rating is 2 : Bad because of the virus but if
it's false alarm, my rating is 3 : Good. I've been using Steeper quite
often and I hope there will be a better version soon.
